VISHAL BOREWELL ELECTROMAGNETIC DIGITAL WATER FLOW METER

Electromagnetic digital meter to measure water flow

In closed pipe lines where the magnetic flux pervades the full cross sectional area of the liquids flow, electromagnetic flow metres are designed to measure the flow of electrically conductive liquids. With the aid of Faraday’s law of electromagnetic induction and an equation for conductive liquids with a minimum conductivity of 5 micro Siemens/cm, which are comparatively resistant to the effects of temperature, pressure, viscosity, and density of the flowing liquid, electromagnetic flow metres measure electromotive forces to determine liquid velocity.

This operates under the tenet of Faraday’s Law, which states that a voltage is generated in a conductor in proportion to the relative velocity between the conductor and the magnetic field when the conductor passes through a magnetic field of a specific strength.

Digital Water Flow Meter with Telemetry for Groundwater extraction monitoring as per CGWA notification

The electromagnetc digital water flow meter and telemetry system must be properly sealed mechanically and electronically. Any third-party laboratory recognised by the National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories (NABL) should issue the most recent test/calibration certificate for each metre. Timestamp, Cumulative forward flow volume, Cumulative reverse flow volume, Cumulative Net volume, Cumulative pump working hours, Metre serial number, Device last calibration date, and Borewell id (Provided by CGWA) are the parameters that the metre must transfer to a secure cloud. Directly recording the communication and telemetry data in a secure cloud is recommended. Data must be transmitted at least twice each day.

Data from meters, pumps, and other devices must be collected by the data collection unit, which should then be entered into data management software. As soon as it is prepared, the unaltered data from the secure cloud will be delivered to the Central Ground Water Authority’s (CGWA) real-time data management platform. Before any branching, the meter must be put at the discharge line of the bore-well pump. No bypassing of the pipe prior to the installed flow meter is permitted. The pipe must always be filled with water when the meter is installed. For the meter, there must be enough straight lengths upstream and downstream.

Distinguishing characteristics of Electromagnetic Digital Water Flow Meter

 Rugged, robust, and IP67-rated construction.

Because of the full bore construction, there is no pressure drop.

Because there are no moving parts, the construction is maintenance free.

Long-lasting PTFE/PFA liner extends metre life.

Telemetry digital electromagnetic flow meter with GSM module, cloud connectivity.

Vishal Borewell provides water metering solutions that are based on proven Electromagnetic technology and represent the next generation of smart metering. We provides solutions in a variety of shapes and 25mm to 200mm size with telemetry system for CGWA guideline. Individual metres and remote reading devices are available, as are fully automated service solutions. The metre is a volumetric measurement device. The measurement is independent of the flowing liquid’s viscosity, density, dissolved/undissolved solids, pressure, or temperature as long as it maintains a specific minimum conductivity. Depending on the application, several types of liner and electrode are employed. There is also detection of empty pipes.

With the aid of our cloud-based dashboarding, we can assist you in gathering more information on liquid (water, chemical, etc.) usage in plants and machinery onto a single platform, doing away with the need for sophisticated multi-software, expensive software, and lowering the capital expenditures involved.

We can provide you telemrty system along with digital electromagnetic flow meter and hydrostatic level transmitter / piezo electric level sensor for borewell or well application as per the CGWA norms and requirement.
