Vishal Borewell Electromagnetic Digital Water Flow Meter
Electromagnetic digital meter to measure water flow
In closed pipelines, electromagnetic flow meters measure the flow of electrically conductive liquids. Using Faraday’s law of electromagnetic induction, they operate on liquids with a minimum conductivity of 5 micro Siemens/cm. These meters are resistant to temperature, pressure, viscosity, and density changes in the liquid. Faraday’s Law states that a voltage is generated in a conductor based on the relative velocity between the conductor and the magnetic field when passing through it.

Ensure the electromagnetic digital water flow meter and telemetry system are properly sealed both mechanically and electronically. A third-party laboratory recognized by the National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories (NABL) must issue the latest test or calibration certificate for each meter. The meter should transfer the following parameters to a secure cloud: Timestamp, Cumulative forward flow volume, Cumulative reverse flow volume, Cumulative Net volume, Cumulative pump working hours, Meter serial number, Device last calibration date, and Borewell ID (provided by CGWA). It is recommended to directly record the communication and telemetry data in a secure cloud. Data should be transmitted at least twice daily.
The data collection unit must gather data from meters, pumps, and other devices and enter it into data management software. Once ready, the unaltered data from the secure cloud will be sent to the Central Ground Water Authority’s (CGWA) real-time data management platform. Install the meter at the discharge line of the borewell pump before any branching. Do not bypass the pipe before the installed flow meter. Ensure the pipe is always filled with water when the meter is installed. Provide sufficient straight lengths upstream and downstream for the meter.

Distinguishing characteristics of Electromagnetic Digital Water Flow Meter
Our flow meters feature a rugged, robust, and IP67-rated construction, ensuring durability in all conditions.
The full bore design eliminates pressure drops, enhancing efficiency.
With no moving parts, our flow meters are maintenance-free, offering long-term reliability.
The PTFE/PFA liner extends the meter’s life, providing a long-lasting solution.
Our telemetry digital electromagnetic flow meter includes a GSM module and cloud connectivity for advanced monitoring.
Vishal Borewell offers water metering solutions leveraging proven Electromagnetic technology, representing the next generation of smart metering. We provide a variety of shapes and sizes (25mm to 200mm) with a telemetry system that complies with CGWA guidelines. Individual meters and remote reading devices are available, as well as fully automated service solutions.
Our meters are volumetric measurement devices, independent of the liquid’s viscosity, density, dissolved/undissolved solids, pressure, or temperature, as long as a specific minimum conductivity is maintained. Different types of liners and electrodes are used based on the application, with the capability to detect empty pipes.
Our cloud-based dashboarding helps you gather comprehensive data on liquid usage (water, chemical, etc.) in plants and machinery, integrating all information onto a single platform. This eliminates the need for complex multi-software systems, reduces software costs, and lowers capital expenditures.
